Disability Training for Clubs – Start Your Journey to Inclusion

Sign up for our free workshop on Saturday 14th June at EIS Sheffield

We’ve teamed up with Derbyshire FA to host a free workshop for clubs looking to start or grow their disability provision, making football more inclusive and accessible for all.

The face-to-face workshop will take place on Saturday 14th June between 9.30am and 5pm at EIS Sheffield (S9 5DA). The venue has free parking and lunch will also be provided.

What will be covered?

With a packed agenda exploring a range of key topics, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Gain insight into some of the barriers disabled people face when accessing football
  • Network with other like-minded clubs
  • Hear real life case studies of clubs that have successfully grown to become more inclusive
  • Discover ways in which you can engage disabled people at your club
  • Create an action plan to support your club’s inclusion journey
  • Watch a live Comets session; a recreational, pan-disability football programme for disabled boys and girls aged between 5 and 11
  • Take part in Neurodiversity Awareness Training workshop, hosted by Rachael Habergham from Kiveton Park FC, to improve inclusivity for neurodiverse individuals at your club
