County Cup Competition 2021-22 Season
Welcome to County Cups for the 2021-22 Season
Following the difficulties, we have all faced across grassroots football we are pleased to announce that we will be starting our county cups this Friday with the first fixture set as Emley AFC First v St Josephs Rockware of Worksop FC, kicking off at 7:45 PM.
As many of you are aware, we faced a difficult season last year where the County Cup Competition didn't go ahead but we are excited about getting the draw underway and seeing the competitions through to the finals.
We appreciate your patience at this early start of the season and we fully understand the many challenges that everyone has faced preparing for the season. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the grassroots workforce and recognise the countless hours you have dedicated to the game.
SHCFA staff have also faced challenges as well following our recent staffing restructure and have had only 3 weeks since the FA online county cups training in mid-august to integrate and draw the cups using the new FA Full-time County cups platform. We recognised that over 120 teams were in the wrong cups, and we have been working closely with leagues and member clubs to try to resolve this. We thank all of you who have taken the time to work with us to develop and deliver the cups up until this point.
On the link below you will find details for the first round draws, cup rules and cup notices for the upcoming season.
