Club 1879 presents: 'under the microscope’ by Paul McGuiness
The Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA, in partnership with Doncaster Rovers FC, launched Club 1879 to provide high-quality coach development workshops. These sessions give grassroots coaches the opportunity to learn directly from professionals in the game.
'Under The Microscope’ by Paul McGuiness

📍 Venue: Eco-Power Stadium, Doncaster
This session will be delivered by Paul McGuiness, a UEFA Pro Licensed coach who enjoyed a 24-year career at Manchester United’s academy. Paul played a key role in developing stars like Marcus Rashford and Danny Welbeck, led the U18s to FA Youth Cup victory in 2011, and has since worked with The FA and Leicester City.
In his ‘Under the Microscope’ session, Paul will introduce the Quadrant Tool, a technique that helps coaches improve their observation skills, allowing for a deeper understanding of individual player development and game tactics.
