Vacancy: Football Development Officer (Coach Development)

Position: Football Development Officer (Coach Development)
Location: County FA Office (204 Meadowhall Rd, Sheffield S9 1BN) however we do currently operate a hybrid working arrangement.
Salary: £14,612 per annum
Hours: 17.5 hours per week (part time)
Contract: This role is fixed until 30th June 2028.

What will you be doing?

We are looking to recruit a part-time Football Development Officer (Coach Development) to join our team and lead on delivering our coach development programme, ensuring coaches at all levels are recruited, supported, developed and valued.

You'll be the playmaker—coordinating with the FA regional coach development team and key stakeholders to create game-changing development opportunities for coaches.

You’ll also work closely with our talented team to support the delivery of The FA Grassroots Football Strategy and the Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA Business Strategy

What are we looking for?

We're seeking a coach with at least a UEFA C qualification who has strong project management, communication, and presentation skills, as well as practical experience in grassroots coaching and/or coach development.
