Duo receive Honorary Life Member of the Association awards

Robin Beynon and Pat Unwin have been recognised for decades of service to the County FA

Robin Beynon and Pat Unwin have both been presented with Honorary Life Member of the Association awards by Sheffield and Hallamshire County FA (SHCFA) Chair Brian Coddington.

The County FA awards Honorary Life Member of the Association to individuals who have made an outstanding and sustained contribution to both the Association and local grassroots football.

Robin Benyon has been a committee member at the Meadowhall League since its formation in 1964. He has held multiple roles across many years and joined the SHCFA Council in 1978 as the League's Nominated Representative. He became a SHCFA Board Member in 2009, a position he held until he recently retired in 2023.

Pat Unwin joined the SHCFA Council in 1987, adding value to the Association through his first-hand knowledge and experience of grassroots football in the Sheffield and Hallamshire region.
