Maltby Main will come up against Emley AFC in the final of the Senior Cup, the fifth oldest surviving cup competition in the world, on Saturday 20^th May at Doncaster Rovers’ Eco-Power Stadium in a 7.30pm kick off.

The two Northern Counties East League Premier Division sides will meet for the third time this season, with both league meetings ending in a draw.

Maltby ended the season with a respectable mid-table finish in the NCEL Premier Division, while Emley claimed an impressive third place finish, narrowly missing out on a play-off place in a strong campaign for the Pewits.

Maltby secured their place in a successive Senior Cup final by beating Sheffield FC on penalties, with goalkeeper Dylan Parkin scoring the winning penalty as the Miners won 3-2 on spit-kicks.

Maltby last won the Senior Cup in 1978 after beating Mexborough Town Athletic 2-1.

Emley ended a 21 year wait for a Senior Cup final appearance with a 7-0 win over Nostell Miners Welfare in the semi-final.

Tickets

Tickets can be purchased on the turnstiles of the West Stand using cash or card and turnstiles will open at 6.30pm. Tickets are priced at £10 for adults, £5 for seniors (65+, students and 17-year-olds) and under 16s get in free with a paying adult.

Food and drinks will be available from the kiosk inside the stadium.

Parking at the stadium is £2 per car and is located in Car Park 2 adjacent to the West Stand.
